The 2025 Grammy nominations, revealed Friday, showcase a star-studded list of contenders for the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. Nigerian artists are making a strong impression, with Tems leading the pack for her country, earning three nominations, including one in the newly introduced “Best African Music Performance” category.

She joins fellow Nigerian superstars Yemi Alade, Asake, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido in the category, reflecting the global surge of Afrobeats. Tems and Rema also scored nominations for “Best Global Music Album,” underscoring Nigerian music’s rising influence worldwide.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé tops the nomination count with 11 nods for her genre-blending album Cowboy Carter, which has landed in major categories such as Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. With this year’s additions, Beyoncé reaches an impressive career total of 99 Grammy nominations, reinforcing her record-breaking achievements.
