Harriman, recognized as the first black man to photograph a cover for British Vogue, has cemented his multifaceted talent with this cinematic achievement. ‘The After’ emerged triumphantly from a pool of over 187 films eligible for consideration, earning its place among the final 15 titles. ‘The After,’ which debuted on Netflix on October 25, 2023, plunges into the profound themes of resilience, courage, and the unyielding spirit of hope. Co-written by Misan Harriman and John Julius Schwabach, the film unveils the narrative of a ride-share driver, brought to life by the talented David Oyelowo.
