Senator Saliu Mustapha, born on September 25, 1972, in Ilorin, Kwara State, is a prominent Nigerian politician currently serving as the senator for Kwara Central Senatorial District since 2023. He is affiliated with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and previously held the position of deputy national chairman of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), one of the predecessor parties that merged to form the APC.
Mustapha’s educational journey began at Bartholomew Primary School in Zaria for his primary education, followed by Command Secondary School in Kaduna for his secondary education. He pursued further studies in mineral resources engineering at Kaduna Polytechnic, equipping himself with technical expertise that would later complement his political career.
