Anthony Joshua has vowed to continue fighting despite his crushing defeat by IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois at Wembley. Joshua, 34, was knocked down four times in the all-British showdown before a fifth-round knockout ended the fight.

Although it was the fourth loss of his career, Joshua is determined to carry on. “Of course, I want to continue fighting,” he said after the match. “We took a shot at success and came up short. We’re going to live to fight another day. I’m a warrior.”

Promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed Joshua’s return, saying, “2025 is going to be an interesting year for Anthony Joshua, but he will definitely be back.”

Dubois, 27, is now targeting a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the WBC, WBO, and WBA titles. “They all said I would get knocked out, but we saw who got knocked out,” Dubois said. “This is just the start of my journey.”
