Victor Osimhen and William Troost-Ekong, prominent players of the Super Eagles, have been officially cleared of any presence of illegal substances by the anti-doping body of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The duo had earlier been picked up by CAF for random doping tests. Osimhen and Ekong underwent separate random doping tests, a routine procedure carried out in response to their outstanding performances during the group stage of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
In a significant development, the results of the random doping tests conducted on Super Eagles stars Victor Osimhen and William Troost-Ekong have yielded negative outcomes, clearing both players of any allegations of illegal substances.
