The Africa Community in Surrey and Sussex, ACISS, had the honor of hosting the Family Sit Down Summit on August 28, 2022.
The Tilgate Parks and Garden in Crawley, United Kingdom, hosted this magnificent event.
The black-led community aspires to build a strong ecosystem that will serve as a home away from home for Nigerians in Surrey and Sussex as well as promote initiatives that will be sustainable for everyone.
Famous writers, public intellectuals, kids, teenagers, drummers, and their white counterparts attended the event to celebrate with them. There were also workshops on activism and wellness, as well as activities centered around art, culture, music, and games.
The group was seen to be content and proud of their community, their attempts to foster love and support among one another, and their efforts to celebrate each other’s cultural variety. These actions form the fundamental foundation of the African Diaspora Foundation.
