Rasheedat Ajibade, a forward for the Super Falcons, has been named a candidate for Atletico Madrid Femenino’s October Player of the Month Award as a result of her strong play for the Spanish club.
The five candidates for the club’s player of the month were announced by Ftbol Mahou, the club’s official sponsor, on Twitter account, among them Ajibade.
The Nigerian forward, who had a lackluster showing in September, was in excellent form in October and was primarily in charge of the team’s surge on the log during the month under review.
In addition to scoring her maiden hat-trick for Atletico Madrid in their 5-0 thumping of Huelva, the former FC Robo star assisted on five of the Spanish team’s twelve goals in October.
Due to the 22-year-old’s outstanding performance, Atletico Madrid had eight out of a possible fifteen points in the Laliga Femeni, during the reviewed month.
The Nigerian has been nominated by Las Colchoneras for player of the month for October along with Ainhoa Moraza, Ludmila Silva, Shei, and Estefania Banini in honor of her goals for the team and their turn around.
This season, the Super Falcons star has scored four goals for Atletico Madrid Femenino in seven games. She might surpass her season-high of ten league goals this season if she maintains her present course.
