The former President Goodluck Jonathan is being speculated to have concluded plans to run for the presidential ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC), despite he is still a member of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

However, many reports say Jonathan will only run if he is assured of being picked as the consensus candidate of APC.

Fresh facts emerged that the former president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan had made the demand when he met the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu, which was held behind closed doors.

Meanwhile, the secretariat of the APC has extended the sale of its nomination and expression of interest forms to Thursday May 12, 2022, while aspirants who had already bought forms will submit on Friday May 13.

According to a three-paragraph statement from the party, the extension was necessitated because of the two work free days observed last week which had cropped into the original timetable.

The APC has now fixed Saturday May 14 and Sunday May 15 for screening of all aspirants that have returned their duly completed and signed nomination and expression of interest forms to the APC Secretariat.
