The Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards has revealed the highly anticipated nominees for the Best Kiss in a Movie category, alongside a lineup of exciting activities for its 2024 ceremony.
This year, the prestigious category features a mix of seasoned actors and rising stars, including Omowunmi Dada, Tayo Faniran, Kelechi Udegbe, Kehinde Bankole, Halima Haliyi, David Akande, Jide Oyebile, and Tomi Ojo.
Omowunmi Dada, one of Nollywood’s most celebrated talents, stands out with dual nominations for Best Actress for her performances in Ada Omo Daddy and Unknown Soja, adding further intrigue to this year’s event.
The BON Awards, an annual celebration of excellence in Nigeria’s movie industry, is renowned for its unique and captivating categories, such as “Best Use of Nigerian Food in a Movie” and the fan-favourite Best Kiss in a Movie.
Set to take place on November 24 at the Sugar Factory in Ilorin, Kwara State, the 2024 edition promises to be a star-studded affair.
The Best Kiss in a Movie category has delivered some of the most talked-about moments in BON Awards history. Notable winners include: 2023: Kiki Bakare and Mimisola Daniels; 2020: Laura Fidel and Kunle Remi; 2018: Mawuli Gavor and Odera Olivia Orji; 2015: Seun Akindele and Roseanne Marcel, whose win was celebrated with a memorable on-stage kiss.
