World-famous Nigerian singer, producer, and songwriter, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR, known professionally as Burna Boy has won another set of international awards – Best International Act and Best African Music Act at this year’s edition of MOBO Awards which was held at Wembley Arena.
Burna Boy beat the likes of Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Drake, Jack Harlow, Jazmine Sullivan, Kendrick Lamar, Skillibeng, Summer Walker, and Tems to the Best International Act category.
Sharing the good news in a tweet, he wrote:
“Thank you so much @MOBOAwards for the Two Awards, Best International Act 2022 & Best African Music Act 2022. Sorry I couldn’t be there. Truly Grateful. Thank you to all my fans and those that voted.”
