This milestone eclipses the previous record set by Peller during a TikTok session featuring Tiwa Savage. Beyond the viewership, Davido’s livestream generated a stunning 377 lion gifts, valued at $400 each, showcasing immense fan engagement. In a generous act, Davido announced that all earnings from these gifts would be donated to his co-hosts, Peller, Jarvis, and Jo Blaq, underscoring his commitment to supporting fellow creators.

Davido’s achievement reinforces his influence and the growing presence of African artists on global digital platforms.
