Deputy President William Ruto Wins Kenya’s Presidential Election

The Kenyan Deputy President William Ruto has won Kenya’s presidential election.

The electoral commission chairman declared Ruto winner having defeated his closes rival Raila Odinga.

Though Ruto polled 50.4% of the vote amid scuffles and allegations of vote-rigging by Mr Odinga’s campaign.

Four out of the seven members of the electoral commission called the results opaque and refused to endorse the announcement.
