Duchess International Magazine hosts her second annual International Women’s Day conference in Kigali, Kenya to celebrate women’s mpact in today’s world and at decision-making position. The media organisation brought together influential participants from around the world to champion conversations around improving the choices of women and girls all around the world.
The 4-day event, startimg from April 17th to 20th April, kicked off on the 17th of April with a Meet&Greet session. The MEET and GREET session was filled with so many exciting moments as this afforded the time for reunion with old friends and connected with new faces.
Participants from South Korea, the U.K, U.S.A., Republic of Ireland, Rwanda, Kenya, Lagos, Nigeria arrived for the event. Some of the participants shared that it’s been an unforgettable experience so far and they can’t wait for the next edition.
Day 2 of the ongoing conference in Kenya and, honestly, this is no longer just a conference, but an experience that is deeply rooted in the heart of the participants. The conference offers the time and opportunity to share ideas, craft progressive policies and orchestrate strategies to put the female folks on the fore of burning issues.
The Covener of the event and Publisher of Duchess International Magazine, Bolaji Odunuga led delegates of Conference, to Ngong Forest in Bomas of Kenya for a tree planting initiative.
She said, “Everyone of us did not just literally plant a tree, but we all initiated the shaping and resharpening of a legacy that the future generation of passionate women can build on. We planted a tree to empower future, inspire inclusion and intitiate a movement of mentally resilient african women”
