Ekiti Gov. elect, Biodun Oyebanji receives certificate of return from INEC

The Ekiti State governor-elect, Biodun Oyebanji, and his deputy, Mrs. Monisade Afuye have received their certificates of return from the National Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), yesterday.

The presentation ceremony was supervised by the National Commissioner of INEC in the state, Sam Olumekun, on Wednesday in Ado Ekiti, the state capital, following their victory in Saturday’s governorship election

Present at the event was Bisi, wife of Kayode Fayemi, Ekiti governor; Monisade Afuye, deputy governor-elect; and Olayemi Oyebanji, wife of the Ekiti governor-elect.

Oyebanji in his remarks, commended INEC and security agencies for an excellent job while also crediting his electoral victory to the full support he got from Governor Kayode Fayemi.
