Jose Mourinho, the most successful Portuguese coach yet again wins his fifth major European title by winning the first-ever Europa Conference League with Roma. Nicole Zaniolo’s goal in the 32 minutes made the difference in the Final with Feyenoord
Mourinho, who had previously won the Champions League with Porto and Inter Milan, Europa League with Manchester United, and the UEFA Cup with Porto, earned Roma a first major European title in more than 60 years.
Mourinho said, “It is one thing to win when everyone expects it when you made the investments to win, but it’s quite another to win when something feels immortal, that feels truly special.”
This win will remain in the history of Roma Football Club and the Italian League being the first Italian Club to win a European competition since Inter Milan in 2020.
The Portuguese have no plans to seek new challenges, as he is already forward to next season with the club.
