Hon. Fidelia Salami is a tourism researcher and the Chairman, Board of Directors, Delta State Tourism Board.
In 2021, she unveiled a platform called ‘Indulge Tourism’ which aims at prosecuting tourism discourse and development. On the platform, she hosted the legendary soldier and two-time head of state, Olusegun Obasanjo as her first guest.
On 27th July 2021, Fidelia launched her books titled; Tourism in Nigeria: The Incredible Journey into the Heart of Nature and Senior Secondary Tourism Books 1, 2, and 3, at Orchid Hotel, DBS Road Asaba, Delta State.
Hon. Fidelia is evidently passionate about returning Delta into the mainstream of tourism.
