Former Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses has vowed to come back stronger as he embarks on on a journey of recovery.
The 31-year-old suffered a serious injury while the first half of Spartak Moscow’s 2-0 win against Ural on match-day four of the Russian Premier League was ongoing on Saturday.
Moses who went down with no contact from the opposition was stretchered off the pitch.
Meanwhile, the club on their website on Monday disclosed that Moses suffered an Achilles tendon injury and may have to stay out of action for 6months.
The former Chealsea player has been all bubbly for Spartak since the beginning of the 2022/23 season as he bagged two goals in four matches, at his new role with the Russian club under Guille Abascal, the new manager.
“Devastated to have suffered an injury in the game at the weekend, I will be doing all I can to recover and get back fully fit as quickly as possible to help the team.”
