French football sensation Kylian Mbappe has reportedly agreed to join Real Madrid when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) expires in the summer. Although the contract is yet to be signed, all details are said to be in place, with Mbappe set to earn a staggering £13 million per year in Spain.
Despite interest from clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal in the Premier League, Mbappe’s desire to join Real Madrid has been clear, and the Spanish club has long been interested in the 25-year-old.
PSG, however, has maintained that no final decision has been made regarding Mbappe’s future, leaving open the possibility of him signing a new deal to stay at the club. Nonetheless, reports suggest that a deal has been reached for Mbappe to officially join Real Madrid in the summer.
If the move goes ahead, Mbappe is expected to earn around £13 million per year (€15 million) in basic salary at Real Madrid, with a staggering £128 million (€150 million) signing-on fee paid out over five years as part of his free transfer.
Since joining PSG from Monaco in 2017, Mbappe has become the club’s all-time leading scorer, with 244 goals and 93 assists in 291 matches. He joined PSG as an 18-year-old wonderkid for £166 million (€180 million) and has since developed into one of the world’s best footballers.
