Rotarian Kunle Adeyanju also called the Lionheart is a Nigerian adventurer and entrepreneur who has impacted the lives of several people across the earth positively. He joined the world in the fight against polio by riding his bike from London to Lagos.
On 19 April 2022, Kunle Adeyanju took to his Twitter account to announce that he will be embarking on a charity ride from London to Lagos to use the journey to raise funds to fight Polio in Africa, and to provide water and good sanitation.
The journey from London to Lagos saw him cross various cities like Ghana, Benin Republic, Algerian, Morocco, France, Togo, etc.
During his adventure, he met various challenges like having access to the borders of some countries was so difficult. When he arrived in Morocco, he discovered his tyre had been punctured by metal, but that didn’t discourage him.
However, the adventure gave him new friends. One of them is a female entrepreneur, Zenab, who he met at Cote D’Ivoire.
Zenab arrived in Nigeria ahead of Kunle’s arrival to give him a grand welcome.
Kunle Adeyanju finally arrived in Nigeria on 29 May 2022 and was welcomed in a grand style having spent 39 days on the road.
He plans to auction the bike for #10 million which will be donated to Charity.
