MTN to Invest N65m in Startup Businesses

MTN Nigeria Communications Plc announced plans to invest N65 million in new businesses in the nation.

The company announced that it is prepared to invest through its initiative, “MTN Pulse BlowMyHustle,” which aims to empower young people with successful enterprises through grants and capacity building.

100 young Nigerians with established businesses or those looking to launch new ones would receive funding and training, according to the statement.

The statement further stated that the shortlisted candidates would have the chance to participate in a two-week intensive virtual training program led by business experts and leaders covering topics such as wealth and investment management, personal development, digital marketing, website development, and elevator pitches.

Adia Sowho, the Chief Marketing Officer for MTN Nigeria, said the following during the launch: “MTN is here to support that hustle so that their dreams can become reality. Young business owners have told us what they need, and with MTN Pulse Blow My Hustle, we will share business skills from experts in relevant fields and create access to financial grants. We look forward to the transformation that this initiative will propel.”
