Musa Leaves Karagumruk for Sivasspor

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has made a swift turn to Sivasspor having terminated the contract he had with Fatih Karagumruk. The transition was however revealed to be a mutual consent between the duo.

As revealed by Musa in a tweeter post, “We have parted ways by mutual agreement with professional football player Ahmed Musa, who was included in our 2021/2022 season.”

The 29-year-old striker made a two-year deal with Sivasspor and is expected to play in the UEFA Europa Conference League with his new team this season.

Musa who left the Istanbul-based club made three appearances for Karagumruk in the ongoing 2022/23 season and will have his first performance for Sivasspor on Saturday when he will be facing his former team, Karagumruk.

Notably, the former CSKA Moscow winger scored 4 goals in 34 games last season.

He also featured for VVV Venlo, CSKA Moscow, Leicester City, Al Nassr before joining Fatih Karagümrük.
