The Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) has teamed up with Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ) to support female entrepreneurship, culminating in the award of a N1 million grant to Achiv Ngusurun, a pastry chef and entrepreneur. This recognition was part of the 23rd Annual WIMBIZ Conference held in Lagos, where Ngusurun impressed judges with her innovative business approach during a competitive pitch session.
NBC commended Ngusurun for her potential to drive economic growth through her entrepreneurial efforts, highlighting her ability to stand out in a competitive environment. In response to the grant, Ngusurun expressed deep appreciation for NBC and WIMBIZ’s role in advancing women-led businesses, noting that the funding would play a crucial role in expanding her venture.
Jolomi Fawehinmi, NBC’s People and Culture Director, emphasized the company’s commitment to promoting economic inclusion for women.
