Watford secured a 2-0 victory over Blackpool on Tuesday night, thanks to a goal from teenager Tobi Adeyamo and a late penalty from Ismaila Sarr.
Adeyamo, who came off the bench in the 68th minute, opened the scoring in the 72nd minute, just four minutes after making his league debut.
The 17-year-old striker was elated after finding the net, having made his first-team debut last week in an FA Cup defeat against Reading.
Sarr sealed the win with a penalty in the 87th minute, which was awarded after Blackpool goalkeeper Chris Maxwell’s rash challenge on debutant Matheus Martins.
The win lifts Watford to third place in the Championship, while Blackpool remains second from bottom without a league win since October.
