Nigeria’s non-oil export revenue, which was $2.6 billion in the first half of 2022, is expected to increase, according to the Federal Government.

The report referred to non-oil exports as Nigeria’s future and stated that this will be accomplished in collaboration with exporters from all around the nation.

Yakusak spoke outside of a “Export Clinic” gathering of exporters. Gertrude Ukoanam, Director of Export Development and Incentives at NEPC, acted as his representative.

Nigeria’s future lies in non-oil export, and he declared that the country must use this opportunity to increase its overall revenue above and beyond what was previously seen.

In an effort to prevent foreign nations from rejecting Nigeria’s goods, he added that the NEPC was providing training to newly registered exporters.

According to him, the Export Clinic represented the beginning of the NEPC’s efforts to support and guide newly registered exporters by giving them the capacity and technical assistance they need with regard to export procedures, documentation, and certification processes for successful export business ventures.
