The governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa and the University of Ibadan Alumni Association have expressed their distasteful feeling towards the ongoing strike of the Academic Staff Union of Universities.
The governor in his words at the 28th edition of University of Ibadan Alumni Association, Asaba Chapter Annual Lecture in Asaba called for a look into the cause of the strike and the likely solution.
According to him, “Any university aspiring to the status of being world-class must cultivate a robust relationship with its alumni.
The National President, UIAA Worldwide, Prof. Olufunke Adewoye, has also commended the Asaba chapter for their contribution to the global body.
