New naira notes that were proposed by the Central Bank of Nigeria have been unveiled by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Prior to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the state house in Abuja on Wednesday morning, Buhari unveiled the new banknotes.
In attendance at the unveiling ceremony was Godwin Emefiele, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (BN).
