President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria has appointed 32-year-old Khalil Suleiman Halilu as the new Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), signaling a fresh era of innovation and technology leadership.
The appointment of Khalil Suleiman Halilu was officially announced through a statement issued by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity. This significant decision came following the dismissal of Dr. Bashir Gwandu, underlining the administration’s commitment to infuse fresh perspectives into key roles.
Khalil Suleiman Halilu’s tenure as CEO is set for an initial term of five years, adhering to the provisions of the NASENI Act of 2014. Khalil Suleiman Halilu’s credentials reveal a deep connection to the world of innovation and technology. Born in Kano, he obtained his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Administration in 2009 from the University of Hertfordshire. Following this, he pursued a Master’s degree in International Business in 2010, further honing his expertise in the global landscape of business and technology.
