Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen is predicted to earn €50 million (N43 billion) if he joins Paris Saint-Germain during current transfer window.
Aurelio De Laurentiis, owner of Napoli, believes that PSG is the only team that can afford the Nigerian international, and he anticipates receiving a million-dollar bid for the player.
However, due to De Laurentiis’ high asking price, other elite teams including Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich have ended discussions for Osimhen.
In a previous report, PSG claimed that the Serie A winners had already turned down an offer of €120 million for Osimhen.
Numerous reports claim that Napoli valued Osimhen at €150 million, and no club is now prepared to pay that amount.
De Laurentiis in a conversation with Mediaset revealed, “The only club that could afford Victor Osimhen is Paris Saint-Germain.
“If (PSG president) Nasser Al Khelaifi wants to send in a bid around €200m we wait and see what happens. I personally think that Victor will stay here.”
While the player has not yet accepted to play in Saudi Arabia, Sky Sports reported that PSG and Al-Hilal had signed a €300M agreement for the Frenchman Kylian Mbappe.
Osimhen would be the ideal striker to replace the World Cup winner if he were to depart the squad.
Also, the 24-year-old player could earn €50 million year as the team’s star if Napoli purchases him, but Osimhen is not interested in moving to Ligue 1, according to elfutbolero.us.
