Stars Builders Win First Ever Trophy in Ogun League

Stars Builders Academy on Tuesday defeated Motivators FC 3-1 in the final of the 2022 Ogun State League.

A brace from Otunsanya Segun and another goal from Ayomide Ayodele got the Stars Builders their first ever trophy.

Stars Builder while playing at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu, opened the floor with Ayodele driving home a deft header.

At just a minute left in the first half, Otunsanya drove home a low free kick which gave Stars Builders a two-goal lead.

Shortly after Kazeem Jubril of Stars Builders Academy got sent off for a handball inside the box, Motivators ceased the opportunity to make their first score.

However, at the 60th minute, there was a score after a penalty from another handball incidence which Otunsanya headed home in a counter-attack at the 89th minute.

”I feel very excited. It is a good achievement for us being that we are debutants and good encouragement for the boys as well. ” Said Stars Builders coach, Gabriel Ezema.
