There’s an African nation in a World Cup semi-finals for the first time ever as Morocco beat Portugal 1-0

History has been made as Morocco become the first African nation to ever qualify for the World Cup semi-finals after they defeated C. Ronaldo’s Portugal 1-0.

Youssef En-Nesyri’s 41st-minute header was the only goal of the game that earned Morocco a historic victory.

Portugal’s introduction of Cristiano Ronaldo as a second-half substitute could not save them as the former Manchester United star could only manage one short on goal.

For their semi-finals clash, the Atlas Lions will now face the winner in the England vs France game.
