Tobi Amusan sets a new world record for the women’s 100 metres hurdles event at the ongoing World Athletics Championship in Eugene, Oregon, United States of America having run the distance of 12.12 seconds to eat United States’ K. Harrison who came second with 12.17 seconds.

Tobi who in 2016 made a world record in the semi-finals having made the best mark of 12.20 seconds held by American Kendra Harrison has done it again at the early hours of Monday 25,2022, becoming Nigeria’s First-Ever World Athletics Championships Gold.
