The nomination of Mrs. Bunmi Popoola-Mordi as an executive director has been authorised by the board of directors of TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc.
The company’s board chairman, Mr. Jean-Phillip Torres, revealed this in a statement that was also signed by him.
He stated that Popoola-Mordi’s appointment as the Executive Director of Human Resources & Corporate Services began on April 1.
Her experience includes, among other things, legal practice, banking, human resource management, labour relations, communication, corporate governance, investor relations, and public relations.
She holds multiple post-graduate degrees in law and an MBA in oil and gas management.
Popoola-Mordi has a law degree, is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
She began working for TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc in 2011 as the legal affairs manager and company secretary. In 2015, she received a promotion to general manager, where she oversaw corporate services and human resources.
In 2019, she was appointed executive general manager of Total Country Services.
