Thousands of flower bouquets have been placed in memory of the Queen outside Balmoral Castle.
Reportedly, former Balmoral staff members have also been invited to the estate today to honor the Queen. There is a “park and ride” system in place for those who wish to show their respect.
And in keeping with the new monarch’s commitment to environmental sustainability, plastic wrapping will be removed from flowers so they can be composted.
This morning, hundreds of well-wishers have also gathered outside Windsor Castle to pay their respects.
Tributes to the Queen continue in like manner outside Buckingham Palace with flowers, flags, and notes of remembrance.
