During a signing ceremony recently held at the US Embassy in Abuja, Union Bank of Nigeria “Union Bank” announced the first banking partnership with Mobihealth International “Mobihealth”, a widely recognized provider of telehealth services.
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals have both recognized Mobihealth and its founder, Dr. Funmi Adewara, for their commitment to ‘to provide everyone with timely access to quality and affordable healthcare and healthcare providers from all over the world’.
A $1 million (USD) grant from the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), which was also announced in Abuja, is among the significant funding the company has also secured.

This partnership is a part of Union Bank’s commitment to enabling success for its customers.
Physical access points for telehealth consultations will also be made available through this cooperation in a few Union Bank branches across the country.
