Nigerian singer Ayo Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, has said that his new album, More Love, Less Ego, is done.
The singer of “Essence” posted the news on his Instagram story late Sunday night. He also thanked everyone who helped make the album.
Wizkid told his fans that he loved them very much when he made the album.
“I finished my record a few days ago! See you soon!! “Love you all #MLLE,” he wrote.
“Special thanks to everyone who helped me put this together,” said the Grammy-winning singer. I have a soft spot in my heart for you all. #MLLE.
“I put a lot of love into this one. Opoju!! (There’s enough) #MLLE.”
Wizkid added, “#MLLE LA Special show,” which could be a hint at a special show for the album.
In October 2021, Wizkid said what the name of his next album would be and when it would come out. The singer, who has won many awards, is known as “Big Wiz,” and he promised his fans that the new album wouldn’t take so long to come out.
The Grammy winner was celebrating the first anniversary of his last album, Made in Lagos when he posted on his verified Instagram page that his next album, More Love, Less Ego, would be out on the last day of his tour.
Since 2020, when his last album, Made In Lagos, came out, it has been breaking records all over the world. For example, Wizkid’s smash hit single “Essence” reached a new high of No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 on October 11, 2021.
