Osita Aboloma has been chosen to lead the National Quality Council, and the nomination has been authorized by President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retired).
According to a statement released on Monday by Ifedayo Sayo, the media assistant to the minister of industry, trade, and investment, the appointment, which becomes effective on August 3, 2022, is renewable for an additional five-year term.
In a letter notifying Aboloma of the new position, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo wrote, “As chairman, you are required to provide day-to-day leadership and direction to the management and staff of the council for effective implementation of the Nigerian National Quality Policy and performance of all relevant functions prescribed for the Council.”
