Since 2022, Samuel Chukwueze of Villarreal has been ranked among the top five most productive players in La Liga.
Chukwueze is one of just five players in the Spanish top division to have double digits in both goals and assists since 2022 across all competitions.

Following his outstanding performance, which was crucial to Villareal’s turnaround from a subpar start to the year, the Nigerian’s participation did not come as a surprise.
The 23-year-old, who was a member of the team that won the Europa League in 2021 after defeating Manchester United in the final, has been a major contributor for Villarreal this season, tallying eight goals and seven assists across all competitions to bring his career total to 10 goals and 10 assists since January 2022.
The list also includes Barcelona striker Ousmane Dembele and Brazilian superstar Vinicius Jr. of Real Madrid.
With 21 goals and 14 assists, the Los Blancos forward is at the top of the leaderboard, and Dembele is in second place with 10 goals and 18 assists.
With 17 goals and 11 assists, Jose Morales, who just transferred from Levante to Villarreal, is third on the list, while Rodrygo, a Madrid player, is fourth with 15 goals and 12 assists.
Chukwueze, a forward for the Super Eagles, made LaLiga Team of The Week a record three times in 2022, setting a personal best for the Nigerian.
The forward has developed into one of the Yellow Submarines’ main players and has started all but one of the team’s last 10 games thanks to his remarkable form.
