Musk, the CEO of Tesla, recovered the top spot on the list of the world’s richest people after shares of French businessman Bernard Arnault’s company dropped more than 2% in the most recent trade.
Along with other factors, Musk’s fortune has grown as a result of the recent spike in Tesla stock prices. They have increased by roughly 89% so far in 2023, according to data.
Notably, Musk and Arnault have been closely matched on Forbes’ list of the richest people in the world.
According to reports, after more than two months in second place, Bernard Arnault passed Musk in December 2022.
