As Nigeria celebrates her Democracy Day today, June 12, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, LCCI has urged Nigerians to put their faith in the current administration and throw their weight behind it to fix the country.

LCCI’s president, Dr. Michael Olawale-Cole speaking in a press release, said, the people of Nigeria have proven to be inherently good, industrious, tolerant, patient, and generous, despite the many years of hardship and disappointment.

Dr. Olawale-Cole pointed out that though the nation’s 24 years of Democracy have been a mixture of good, bad, and ugly, the people’s deep, resolute faith has ensured an indivisible Nigeria.

He further rejoiced with Nigerians for embracing and sustaining the form of government that best assures active participation and actual benefit of the people.
