Asisat Lamina Oshoala scores at three different FIFA Women’s World Cups, making her the first female African and Nigerian player to do it.

Oshoala scored Nigeria’s third goal after coming off the bench, taking advantage of a mistake in the Australian defensive, before Alanna Kennedy added a thrilling goal on the clock at 90+10.

She is currently the only Nigerian to score in three FIFA Women’s World Cups, according to Soar Super Eagles, thanks to her goal off the bench.

Having scored in both the 2015 and 2019 tournaments, when she scored one goal each, Attacking Third highlighted that she became the first African to accomplish that accomplishment.

Additionally, the Falcons made history by being the first nation from Africa to triumph in the competition held in Australia and New Zealand, while Morocco and Zambia suffered humiliating losses.

In a video posted to social media, the five-time African player of the year is shown savouring the moment before receiving a yellow card for taking off her shirt.
