Mercy Aigbe Adeoti takes ‘Ada Omo Daddy’ to the UK

Mercy Aigbe Adeoti has taken to her social media handles to announce that her first cinema-shown film, Ada Omo Daddy, is set to captivate audiences in the United Kingdom.

The movie premiered about a month ago in December 2023 and hit cinemas on December 15, 2023, the same day as the Nollywood highest-grossing movie ever, A Tribe Called Judah, by Funke Akindele.

As of January 20, 2024, the movie had grossed over 200 million naira and continues to show in cinemas nationwide. The film featured stars like Adeniyi Johnson, Carol King, Charles Okafor, Dele Odule, Sola Sobowale, Taiwo Adeyemi, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor (Unusual Phyna), Tayo Faniyan, Tomi Ojo, Nkechi Blessing, and Mercy Aigbe Adeoti.

Adeoti revealed in her Instagram post that the movie would be distributed by the Independence Film Exhibition Consultancy in the United Kingdom, but the schedule for screening in UK cinemas is yet to be released.

In an emotional Instagram post, Mercy Aigbe Adeoti expressed her gratitude to her husband and fans for their unwavering support throughout the production of Ada Omo Daddy. She acknowledged the collaborative effort that went into making the film a success and promised to continue delivering top-notch entertainment to her audience.
